Year 11 student Ari has been making waves in the world of football after being offered a prestigious two-year scholarship at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, which he will be starting in July as part of the Under-18 squad!
The Sheffield Wednesday Education Programme is an elite scholarship based at the club, offering talented football players aged 16-18 the opportunity to study a BTEC Level 3 diploma whilst actively participating in an elite development programme.
The course, facilitated between Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield FC and Rotherham College, is designed to help students progress with the aim of pursuing of a professional football playing contract.
