Year 10 Students Showcase Craft Skills in Pop-Up Shop Work Experience

We are proud to announce that a group of talented Year 10 students will be showcasing their craft skills through a Pop-Up Shop work experience initiative. The students have diligently crafted a variety of unique items, which will be available for sale at their very own Pop-Up Shop located at Provision House in Dudley.

The Pop-Up Shop will be open to the public Tuesday 4 July, Tuesday 11 July, and Tuesday 18 July, from 10:00am to 1:30pm. Please come along and support the students’ entrepreneurial endeavours and purchase the exceptional products they have crafted.

Thorns Collegiate Academy is grateful for the support provided by The Black Country Careers Hub and The Careers and Enterprise Company, which have made this opportunity possible. Through their participation in the Pop-Up Shop work experience, the students will not only gain valuable insights into the world of retail but also develop essential skills and qualities that can be applied to various career paths.

These learning opportunities are instrumental in helping students explore their interests, discover their strengths, and lay a solid foundation for their future careers.

Let’s celebrate the students’ hard work and encourage their bright future ahead!
