- A strong social, emotional and physical health curriculum.
- Weekly offsite outdoor learning sessions.
- Led by experienced, specialist staff.
What we offer:
Six-week intervention programme
The CHANGE Centre delivers a structured six-week intervention for young people who are at risk of repeat suspension or permanent exclusion. The programme focuses on raising self-awareness, shifting attitudes and equipping students with the skills they need to make meaningful, lasting change and re-engage positively with their education.
Morning academic learning
Students study a reduced but rigorous curriculum in English, mathematics and science, which is aligned to age and key stage and delivered through a blend of online learning and in-person support, with continuous assessment.
Social, emotional and physical development
Academic learning is complemented by a strong social, emotional and physical health curriculum, promoting resilience, teamwork, discipline and positive behavioural change. Sessions include creative health, citizenship, reading and comprehension, first aid for life, physical education and wellbeing walks.
Outdoor learning that drives change
Each week, students attend the Challenge Academy in South Staffordshire, engaging in practical, fun and challenging activities led by qualified staff. These experiences build confidence, communication, problem solving and resilience in a safe and supportive environment.
Costs
Costs are £90 per day.
We additionally offer a three-week Circuit Breaker Programme for students who require a short-term, intensive reset.
Students with more complex needs, including those with an EHCP, will be assessed individually and costs may vary depending on support required.
