Students Partake in Duke of Edinburgh Award Focus Day

Students recently participated in a range of activities linked to the skills required to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award for one of our Focus Days. These ranged from tent building, bushcraft tasks and even cooking pasta on stoves in the field, to practising their map reading skills for orienteering tasks and other team building activities.

The DofE is a nationally recognised Leadership Award, which we offer at Bronze level to students in Year 9. For further information about the Award and how to take part, please contact Claire Hakeman in PE.
