The Junior Maths Challenge is aimed at pupils in Year 8 or below in England and Wales. It is a 60 minute multiple-choice Challenge that encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency when using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
The top-scoring 40% of participants are awarded Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates in the ratio 3:2:1.
