We are experiencing a significant increase in the number of staff reporting Covid related absence and it is becoming very difficult to find enough supply teachers to cover all our teaching groups.
As you can imagine there is a high level of demand for supply teachers from other schools in Dudley LA and surrounding boroughs. We have managed the situation thus far, but if there is further staff absence, it is highly likely that we will have to make the decision to move to remote learning for one of more year groups from next week onwards.
We will do our very best to prevent this from happening, but if there is no alternative, we will try to provide you with as much notice as possible. We will endeavour to minimise the time that we implement this strategy for, but remote learning could be in place for longer than a few days for some of our students.
