Year 11 Focus Day – RELIGIOUS EDUCATION – Wednesday 13th October,
Dear families,
RE education is a school subject through which promotes the spiritual, moral and cultural development of pupils; and prepares pupils at the school for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life.
With this in mind Year 11 will be exploring issues around Homelessness on Wednesday 13th October during their Focus Day.
We are hoping that a representative from Black Country YMCA will be coming into the Academy to talk to students about real life issues surrounding being Homeless in our local area and she has asked that we if as an Academy could contribute to their Food Bank.
Please could you send your son/daughter into the Academy on Wednesday 13th October with an item or items suitable for the food bank and hand it in to their form tutor.
These could include:
Tinned Meat/Meat
Tinned Fish
Tinned Carrots, Peas or Sweet Corn

UHT Milk
