Year 10 historians were privileged and honoured to welcome holocaust survivor Henry Schachter to Thorns yesterday. Henry’s story of survival during the Second World War was both moving and enriching. It was a powerful lesson and gave a first-hand insight into Nazi Germany, a topic that the students are currently studying.
