SENDIASS (The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Services) are hosting a range of free training sessions and events for families of children with SEND.
These offer a valuable opportunity for parents and young people to hear from professionals within education, health and social care as well as gain an overview of the services provided including referral pathways.
It also provides an opportunity for families to have their questions answered and be more informed about the support and services available for children and young people with SEND.

- Tuesday 10th January and Wednesday 28th February – Understanding how to access support within settings
- Wednesday 18th January and Tuesday 7th March – Understanding the EHCP process
- Thursday 26th January and Thursday 9th March – Understanding and reading through your draft EHCP
- Tuesday 31st January and 15th March – Preparation to attend meetings in settings
- Wednesday 8th February and Tuesday 21st March – Understanding the Annual and Emergency Review Process
- Thursday 16th February and Wednesday 29th March – Preparation for Post-16 transition
