Learning at home can be hard.
In recognition of Children’s Mental Health Week & Time To Talk Day, we are encouraging students to follow these useful tips in order to maintain a balanced and healthy approach to their learning.
Year 7 Form Tutors and students have been engaging in a variety of discussions and activities focussing on mental wellbeing.
Coinciding with Children’s Mental Health Week, a group of Year 10 students have been studying the poems ‘Remains’ and ‘War Photographer’ in their online English lessons, focussing on the emotional and mental challenges that people face because of conflict.
They looked specifically at the importance of offering support to those struggling with their mental health, as well as the need to become sensitised to the everyday challenges people face.
