Earlier this term, the English Department took fifty Year 11 students to see a performance of ‘An Inspector Calls’ at the Playhouse Theatre, London. This gave pupils the opportunity to watch one of their GCSE set texts come to life and to see how a director might interpret the playwright’s original ideas. Pupils were exceptional ambassadors for the school and thoroughly enjoyed having the chance to take in some of the sights.
