Manchester boy band Yes Lad, who featured in X-Factor put on a special charity performance at local secondary school, Thorns Community College this week. The gig, which was followed by an autograph signing session for their student fans, raised money for British Heart Foundation. Band member, Luke Gregory said, “We were really pleased to help the students in their charity fund-raising. They were a great audience”. The band, tipped to be the next Take That, travelled from their Manchester base especially to perform at the school. Pat D’Arcy, the Thorns Community College staff member who organised the show, said “The British Heart Foundation is a charity which means a lot to me and it was a real treat for the boys and girls to see this performance especially for them”.
