As part of today’s healthy living Focus Day theme, we welcomed Paul from The Mary Stevens Hospice to the academy, who discussed all aspects of mental health with Year 10 students.
Also visiting the academy today were representatives of BrookCharity, an organisation that offers healthy lifestyle advice to young people. We were delighted to have the opportunity to welcome them to Thorns.
A group of Year 9 students visited the NEC, Birmingham and had a ‘Big Bang’ of a time at The Big Bang Fair.
